• Has earned a Masters or Doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university. 3.
• Has demonstrated that (s)he has completed 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience including a minimum of 1,200 hours of direct client contact, with 500 hours providing direct clinical services to couples and families. 4.
• An applicant shall have a minimum of one hundred (100) post graduate hours of clinical supervision with a DQCS 5.
• Has a passing score on either the Association of Marital and Family Therapists Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB) examination or another examination as may be approved by the Board.
• Continuing Education Licensees must complete a minimum of three hours of continuing education activites in professsional ethics and three hours of continuing education activities in suicide assement and prevention each two year renewal cycle.
• Restrictions Felony conviction.
• Misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
