Physician Pathologist Licensing in Nebraska

Meet one of the following:

Have a master's degree or its equivalent in speech-language pathology from an academic program accredited by the Education Standards Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association;

For applicants who graduated prior to September 1, 2007, present proof of a master's degree, doctoral degree, or the equivalent of a master's degree or doctoral degree in audiology from an academic program;

For applicants who graduated on or after September 1, 2007, present proof of a doctoral degree or its equivalent in audiology

• accredited by the Education Standards Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

For applicants who are applying on the basis of endorsement by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)(301-296-5700) or equivalent and are in active practice, have official documentation of the Certificate of Clinical Competence submitted to the Licensure Unit;

Have official documentation of passing the PRAXIS II Examination in Audiology sent directly from the Educational Testing Service;

Have reached the age of majority;

Be either a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted into the United States who is eligible for a credential under the Uniform Credentialing Act, or a nonimmigrant who is lawfully present in the United States and who is eligible for a credential under the Uniform Credentialing Act.
