    • or certificates of completion of an apprenticeship program for elevator mechanic, having standards substantially equal to those of this chapter, and registered with the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, U.S.

    A license shall be issued to an individual holding a valid license from a state or province having standards substantially equal to those of this chapter, upon application and payment of the fee but without examination.

    A limited elevator mechanic must be certified by the manufacturer of the equipment he or she installs or an approved training program acceptable to the equipment manufacturer.

  7. 7

    This certification must accompany the application for license.
